This really is stunning.

Alexander G. Schauss, PhD, FACN, is the Senior Director of Natural and Medicinal Products Research, AIBMR Life Sciences, in Puyallup, Washington. He shares his remarkable experience in treating addicts with – of all things – high doses of Vitamin C. (Vitamin C has been found to occupy opioid receptor sites.)

The US government does not recommend this, because “80% of the addictions rehabilitation field of workers would be out of a job” if this therapy was widely promoted. That’s how effective it is.

HI Dr. Schauss,
While doing research for a school project titled, Curing Cocaine Addiction, I found you! I am interested in nutrition and botanical medicine. I would like to get my doctorate. I am blown away by your qualifications and expertise, your passion! I am writing to inquire more about your study with Vitamin C. It sounds as if this was successful for heroin/opiate addiction. I am wondering if this is the case with cocaine. I understand cocaine dependency is caused by increased amounts of pleasure producing biochemicals. I am unsure if these receptors are the same as the opioid responsible for heroin addiction. If recommended for cocaine addiction what is the best source of Vitamin and efficacy for a beginning dose, and what is the duration.

Does YouTube explain why this video is unavailable? Where can it be found? I saw Dr. Schauss discuss this approach in 1997 and he was inspiring. Except to Big Pharma where suffering = profit.

Sorry, I can’t get this to show as a live link. I have sent information to my congressional reps in Washington. No action at all from them. More recently I sent it to Safeproject.us@gmail, a group motivated to act on this issue when their leader, a retired navy admiral, lost his son to heroin. We need to pressure legislators and people of influence to examine and promote the findings of Dr. Schauss.
