On the surface of the world right now there is
war and violence and things seem dark.
But calmly and quietly, at the same time,
something else is happening underground
An inner revolution is taking place
and certain individuals are being called to a higher light.
It is a silent revolution.
From the inside out. From the ground up.
This is a Global operation.
A Spiritual Conspiracy.
There are sleeper cells in every nation on the planet.
You won’t see us on the T.V.
You won’t read about us in the newspaper
You won’t hear about us on the radio
We don’t seek any glory
We don’t wear any uniform
We come in all shapes and sizes, colors and styles
Most of us work anonymously
We are quietly working behind the scenes
in every country and culture of the world
Cities big and small, mountains and valleys,
in farms and villages, tribes and remote islands
You could pass by one of us on the street
and not even notice
We go undercover
We remain behind the scenes
It is of no concern to us who takes the final credit
But simply that the work gets done
Occasionally we spot each other in the street
We give a quiet nod and continue on our way
During the day many of us pretend we have normal jobs
But behind the false storefront at night
is where the real work takes a place
Some call us the Conscious Army
We are slowly creating a new world
with the power of our minds and hearts
We follow, with passion and joy
Our orders come from the Central Spiritual Intelligence
We are dropping soft, secret love bombs when no one is looking
Poems ~ Hugs ~ Music ~ Photography ~ Movies ~ Kind words ~
Smiles ~ Meditation and prayer ~ Dance ~ Social activism ~ Websites
Blogs ~ Random acts of kindness…
We each express ourselves in our own unique ways
with our own unique gifts and talents
Be the change you want to see in the world
That is the motto that fills our hearts
We know it is the only way real transformation takes place
We know that quietly and humbly we have the
power of all the oceans combined
Our work is slow and meticulous
Like the formation of mountains
It is not even visible at first glance
And yet with it entire tectonic plates
shall be moved in the centuries to come
Love is the new religion of the 21st century
You don’t have to be a highly educated person
Or have any exceptional knowledge to understand it
It comes from the intelligence of the heart
Embedded in the timeless evolutionary pulse of all human beings
Be the change you want to see in the world
Nobody else can do it for you
We are now recruiting
Perhaps you will join us
Or already have.
All are welcome

A beautiful compilation about what’s happening on our planet at this time.
(Hint: You won’t find this on your television or in your newspapers.)
About this process, if you’re feeling alone, or “up-and-down”, or sometimes inexplicably sad, and sometimes inexplicably joyful (the natural state), or like a cymatics experiment in the mid-phaseshift chaos — know that you’re not alone. You’re together with an evolving group of many many people going through a very similar experience on the planet at this time.
That’s what I was going to call this post: Why the hell would anybody want to be free?
Yes, the question would have been rhetorical and no I don’t mean I’m thinking of taking up communism or nihilism instead of the freedomquest.
But seriously. You know from experience that being a freedomista often brings you grief. You get the sorrow of watching your country go to hell. The agony of knowing your children will have it worse than you do. You have to put up with the sneers or uncomprehending stares of people who don’t want to hear perfectly sensible ideas. You hear media morons who know nothing about economics dismiss real money as “weird.” You watch the Bill of Rights crumble to dust, day by day. You know that the policeman is not your friend. That public servants are cruel masters. You know so much that it hurts.
Your neighbors, who fit in better than you, don’t know or don’t care. And they’re happy.
So why the hell would anybody want to be free? And by that I don’t mean, “Why would anybody rather be free than live in a Soviet gulag?” Or, “Why would anybody rather be free than to be tied up and waterboarded by a neocon puppet?” That’s obvious.
I mean, “Why would anybody rather be truly free than to live semi-free as we live now?” Or, “Why would anybody rather be Bill-of-Rights type free than live in, say, a European welfare state?” Why isn’t it enough to be relatively free? Freer than people in, say, Kenya or Saudi Arabia or even the UK or Massachusetts (sorry, Taxachusettsians).
The chances of achieving the degree of personal and political freedom we desire are slim, so why do we bang our heads when things really aren’t that bad (unless of course you’re Bradley Manning or Cory Maye or somebody else who has had too close an encounter with AUTHORITAH)?
But of course that’s looking at the question backwards.
The real question that dogged me all last weekend, the question whose answer could totally change minds, open eyes, and set spirits soaring is this:
What is the One Great Thing?
So that’s the new name of this post: The One Great Thing. What one thing about freedom makes it worthwhile for those who seek it? What One Great Thing can make all the struggle worthwhile?
If you could convey to people just one simple thing that makes true freedom better than the alternative — one little thing that even a child could understand — what would it be?
Earlier today, thousands of angry Canadians received the below response from Senator Joseph Day, copied below, with the news that the corrupt Canadian corporate government passed Bill C-36, despite the will of the People. Yes, it is of course disappointing that Health Canada has been legislated carte blanche-type powers similar to Nazi Germany in the 30′s. But we must know that it is just another step in the larger process on a grander awakening. The people will feel the noose tighten a little more, before ignition – this is natural.
We know that there is coming a time in our near future when we will stand united – in love of our families, friends, country, future generations and all of humanity – and fully and completely shed tyranny. This tyranny-shedding happens within each of us, as it does on the collective outside reality.
Expansion of consciousness continues to light up the way, our path. And consciousness expands rapidly through being centered in love and allowing the resulting higher faculties to develop within us each. (This process is happening anyways.) Shedding of the old comes naturally when the creation of the new is ripe. Collective ripeness will bring great action. My prayer is that we ripen freely and quickly. But, all things in good time.
In the meantime, check out this deeply engaging 9-minute video if you haven’t done so already:
We all continue to go deeper, shut off the tv “programming” & corporate news, breathe, ask questions, take a stand, feel our emotions (including anger) and act on them, and gather in community. We each become ready, and intend a new higher way for humanity to be made manifest. We are not “consumers”, nor are we “sheeple” any longer.
We are human beings, and we are together.

From Senator Joseph Day:
“Concerned Citizens,
It is with regret that I inform you that Bill C-36 was passed in the Senate chamber yesterday evening. Three standing votes were held on the matter, and each time the Conservative majority outnumbered us and won those votes. The Bill will now receive Royal assent, at which point it will become law.
Many of you will wonder what you can do next. My advice is that, come the next election, you do your best to remind fellow voters how the Conservatives abused their numbers in the Senate to pass flawed legislation. Only then will this Conservative government realize that the Senate’s role is to ensure that our laws and institutions serve all Canadian citizens, not just the interests of their political party.
Please let me take this time to thank you for your support. We fought hard to make sure your voices were heard. Despite our efforts, we were outnumbered in the end.
Sincerely,
Senator Joseph A. Day, LL. M., P. Eng.”
Yesterday in the Canadian Senate debates on Bill C-36, Liberal Senators Day, Cordy and Banks all had rousing arguments yesterday in defense of Canadians’ rights, and pointing out things wrong with C-36 and the overall legislative process that’s happened.
Senator Day is also continuing to make a very strong case for much more time to be made for this bill to be looked at in depth, rather than rushed through at the Government’s seeming request. It’s evident that he and many other Senators (mostly Liberal) are likewise not comfortable with its removing the judicial “Rule of Law” process in favour of granting Health Canada carte blanche. In addition, it was again mentioned how Shawn’s appearance has been unfairly blocked, and how they have not been listening to Canadians nearly enough. We are making a difference…!!!
The transcript in full, posted this morning, is quite interesting indeed:
Here’s a good snippet, starting with Senator Day’s closing comments:
Senator Day speaking:
…Honourable senators, my office has received almost 1,000 emails requesting that the Standing Senate Committee on Social Affairs, Science and Technology take the time to hear from witnesses who are familiar with the proposed legislation and to consider carefully the powers being sought by the government and ensuring that they are necessary and desirable.
Mr. Shawn Buckley was recommended as a possible witness, but the senators on the government side have refused to hear from him, and I asked myself why. Mr. Buckley is a very reputable constitutional lawyer and is highly qualified, probably one of the most qualified on this proposed legislation of anyone in Canada. We heard from Mr. Buckley in the previous version of this bill when it was Bill C-6, and he was very informative and insightful. Naturally, when the bill was reintroduced, he was the person we immediately suggested should be brought in to discuss the changes, those changes that were not made, as well as to enlighten us on the strengths and weaknesses of this new legislation being proposed. Unfortunately, the Conservative senators unanimously voted down Senator Cordy’s motion to allow Mr. Buckley to appear before the committee.
Senator Mercer: Shame.
Senator Tardif: Shame.
Senator Day: Honourable senators, I made a second motion to extend the hearing times for one more session to allow additional outside witnesses to be heard. Sadly, this too was defeated unanimously by the Conservative majority on the committee.
Honourable senators, I received 10 written submissions regarding Bill C-36 from organizations whose submissions could have been very helpful to us. They were from the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba, Canadian Consumer Specialty Products Association, Canadian Consumer Product Safety Coalition, Canadian Toy Association, Canadian Environmental Law Association, Health Action Network Society, Natural Health Products Protection Association, David Suzuki Foundation, Consumer Interest Alliance Inc. and Johnson & Johnson Inc.
Honourable senators, allow me just quote from the Health Action Network Society:
Our organization has been told that we are unable to make a presentation to your Committee on Bill C-36, and have been asked to write to you instead. There is something missing when you cannot meet face to face, unfortunately, but here are our points: . . . .
Honourable senators, that letter is typical of the letters we received concerning this proposed legislation. These people were cut off for some reason from coming, and many of them would have told us that this legislation was improved over the previous legislation but there were certain other portions that should have been made.
Honourable senators, this should illustrate to us that we have not done our job on this bill. It should also indicate that we have offended a large segment of society by rushing this process for no reason. There was absolutely no reason to rush this process because we all agreed —
Senator Mitchell: However, they might prorogue again.
Senator Day: — with the fundamental principle. The principle of the bill was universally agreed upon. It is difficult to understand why partisan politics should interfere with ensuring that the bill gets the attention it deserves, honourable senators.
Some Hon. Senators: Hear, hear!
….
Subsequently to this section, Senator Cordy spoke of her problem with the broad scope of power granted to “foreign entities” in the bill; and Senator Banks introduced an amendment to grant some actual privacy protection.
There is indication that with respect to these proceedings, the tide is turning in the favour of the Canadian people. We need to keep the pressure on, and continue spreading the word about this extremely dangerous legislation. Thank you for being part of this movement!
It appears there is much going on behind the scenes with respect to certain forces (including Health Canada) going all out to pass the unconstitutional Bill C-36.
Reportedly, in the Committee meetings, much negotiation is going on between sessions and privately during the breaks! What are Health Canada and their yes-people up to??
Time to bombard the current list (at bottom) with emails, calls and faxes… speak the truth!

“Wake Up” is an independent documentary of Jonas Elrod, an American who one day woke up and was able to see energy in other dimensions.
I’ve watched the full-length film on DVD and it’s a thoroughly engaging and well-made film, capable of provoking deeper questions in anyone who views it.
